Presentation :

• Quartz also called Himalayan Ice Quartz, is the name that was coined to describe a specific group of growth interference quartz crystals discovered in the Himalayan Mountains in 2006, at approximately 18,000 feet above sea level. It was discovered due to the melting of glaciers caused by global warming of the planet.
• They have apparently resided under the ice for thousands of years. The crystals themselves visually resemble the ice patches and jagged crevices. These are shaped and complicated irregularities, with deep recesses and strange contours. No two pieces are the same, although it is clear that they are all one species. Although most do not exhibit the regular six-body, pointed-tip endings of most types of quartz, they sometimes exhibit natural faceting and partially smooth bodies. Most are wand shaped, many are rather thick and stocky. An unusually high percentage of them are trigonic and have triangles etched into their surface.

• A crystal is trigonic if it displays and a triangle inscribed on one or more endings.

• Color: white or light pink.
• the coloring of about half of the specimens appears to derive from inclusions on or near their surfaces.
• Growth interfering quartz is said to derive its fantastic shapes due to the growth of calcite or other minerals within and during the formation of the quartz crystal body. Later, the mineral that integrates dissolves, leaving the oddly shaped quartz.
• They apparently existed and lay silent beneath the ice for thousands of years, waiting to introduce themselves to the human world .
• The trigonic system can be found in clear quartz, Amethyst, Citrine or Smoky Quartz. Clear Quartz offers the highest vibrations. Amethyst improves protection, Citrine increases mental clarity and Smoky Quartz facilitates grounding.

• So-called trigonic Quartz can be used with other stones and its capabilities will not diminish. On the contrary, it will magnify what the other stones offer.
