• The color of Tiger's Eye is the origin of its name, in fact the characteristic colors of this stone (shimmering shades of golden yellow and brown) are reminiscent of the iris and the tiger's coat. Due to its symbolism, the tiger was the ideal animal to designate this stone, since it embodies strength and protection, mainly in Chinese culture. Since the Middle Ages, this stone has been used as protection, mounted as a talisman. It was also used to obtain luck, goods. Finally, in Scotland, the tiger's eye symbolized prosperity, and it was said that it brought wealth to whoever wore this stone. According to traditions, it protects against snakes, vampires and evil spells. It is said that Tiger's Eye is to the mineral world what garlic is to the plant world.

• Tiger's eye belongs to the so-called "solar" stones and its recharging will be done in the sun and the earth or on a quartz or amethyst geode or a pile of rock salt (refer to the article on cleaning, purification, recharging, reprogramming).

Cleaning, recharging, reprogramming:

• Clean with clear spring water or filtered water (never add salt to the water. Salt alters the structure of the mineral and the abyss). Soak the mineral overnight in an unmarked glass container, then take it out in the morning to rinse it with fresh spring or filtered water.
• Direct charging on a crystal or amethyst druse, in a crystal or amethyst geode. • "Hematite comes from the Greek "Haimatites" itself derived from "Haima" meaning "blood". Very often, it is called oligiste but they should not be confused because the latter is heliotrope.
  
• A pure iron oxide, hematite stone is also composed of manganese, titanium, and aluminum. It is part of the corundum-hematite family, where most of these minerals have a crystalline structure. This stone is essentially black and silvery gray. It can be found in its raw state, resulting from high-temperature formation in geologically very different locations.
