Lodolite
Presentation :
Lodolite, or shaman quartz, comes from the mines of Brazil. It is a quartz containing inclusions of iron oxide, chlorite, and other minerals. Lodolite is said to have many virtues, mainly on a spiritual level. It often has the appearance of gardens, landscapes, and underwater scenes.

- Quartz*: Rock crystal, Lodolite Shaman Quartz, Girasole Quartz, Milky Quartz, Iridescent Quartz, Quartzite.
Etymology:
- Quartz: From the German Quarz | Rock crystal: From the Greek krystallos=ice coming from the belief of an ice hardened forever by the gods.

- Quartz (Crystalline) Group.
Color :
- Colorless (Rock crystal) on background yellowish-yellow, dark yellow, green, brown to grayish | (Quartz includes many other colors and/or textures depending on its inclusions.
Chandelier:
- Glassy.
Origin :
- Alps: Brazil, Switzerland, France, Italy | Russia, United States, etc.
Crystal system:
- Trigonal: Pentamorph with Tridymite, Cristobalite, Coesite and Stishovite | Isostructural with Berlinite.
Chemical composition:
- Quartz: SiO2 | Effect: Microscopic inclusions (exsolution of water droplets) that can give opalescence (Girasol Quartz); Fine cracks that can give an iridescent effect (Iridescent Quartz), etc.
Transparency:
- Transparent to Translucent.
Density :
- Generally very constant around 2.650 to 2.651 (NB: bracket taken from 2.64 to 2.66 in case of inclusions).

- Conchoidal, Splintery.

- Good to Bad depending on inclusions.

Cleaning, recharging, reprogramming:
- Clean with clear spring water or filtered water (never add salt to the water. Salt alters the structure of the mineral and the abyss). Soak the mineral overnight in an unmarked glass container, then take it out in the morning to rinse it with fresh spring or filtered water.
- Direct charging on a crystal or amethyst druse, in a crystal or amethyst geode. You can also place a dozen laser crystals or rocks in a circle (like a time dial), points towards the center, and place your minerals in the center to charge them. Another method is to place your minerals in a singing bowl: Tibetan or crystal bowl, (on a cotton cloth to avoid bowl/mineral vibrations), then ring the bowl to fill your minerals with this sound energy. Last method is to place your minerals on a disc (wood or mineral) engraved with the flower of life or the seal of Solomon or any other form of sacred geometry.
- Reprogramming: Reprogramming is not about telling your mineral what to do or not to do, but about putting the mineral in resonate with you to ask it to do what it needs to do, for you. Reprogramming must be done after each cleansing and must remain simple. Example of reprogramming: "I ask this mineral to bring me all the virtues and benefits on the different levels, for my greater good as well as for the greater good of the people around me."
