Etymology:

• From Italian avventura = chance | NB: “Aventurine”, when written alone, describes quartz with green Fuchsite inclusions. For other colors and/or inclusions, write: Aventurine Quartz + color (eg Blue Aventurine Quartz) AND/OR precision of the inclusion (eg Blue Aventurine Quartz with dumortierite).
