Cleaning & purification:

• Malachite has the particularity of being very absorbent, it saturates quickly and you will have to clean your stones after each use. Pure water is the easiest and most effective way. You can use tap water or better demineralized water. Don't let it soak for too long and definitely don't add salt.
• The other recommended method is fumigation: pass the stone under the smoke of incense, sandalwood or sage wood. You can alternate this very gentle method with water purification.
• The quartz mat (or geode) or amethyst mat (or geode) allows both cleansing and recharging
• You will recharge it inside an amethyst geode or more simply in the morning sun because malachite fears high heat.
• Malachite is cleansed with lunar or solar light. It is recharged on a quartz or amethyst mat.
